Economic Development Council for Central Illinois

This site was powered by an old, out-of-date content management system and the Economic Development Council was looking to upgrade.

I took their existing design and created a Drupal theme and added the desired functionality.  The biggest challenge with this site was migrating it from the old CMS to Drupal.  There were so many files and pages that a manual migration would have be near impossible.  To solve this issue I built a custom PHP and Perl script (with the help of a colleague) to do it for me.  It saved hours in development time and really cut down the price for the client.
